Request 3: Galacticdominator (Closed)
It has been almost one month since my first request. I now have over 2000 edits and would be eligible for a RfA if I had the "Rollback rights for a month" requirement. This time I will make sure not to delete wiki code unless I am absolutly sure it shouldn't be there. Please give me another chance. I know why I lost them in the first place and will be sure not to do it again. ~ ~ ~ 21:09, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

"Ambush on the Covenant"
"How Many of You Think The Books Are Canon?"

Can I has Rollback? Now, putting the noob-effect aside, I have performed many vandalism reverts by notifying the Administration Team (Ask Subtank or Smoke.) and I believe acquiring this Rollback Rights will further enhance my performance in combating vandalisms. Please note that I have successfully acquired the editcount requirements.

Now, I known that I do not have 1000 edits yet (only a bit over half), but I would like to request the rollback tool at this time. One reason is that I would like to have the ease of reverting vandalism at click of a button, but I also do intend to engage in further anti-vandalism activities. I know that I do not have much (if any) at the moment, but I will say that I will be trying to focus on it in the near future. I have rights to the rollback tool on the English Wikipedia, under the username, Connormah, so I would say I have the experience in reverting vandalism, dealing with it extensively, and when and when not to use the tool. I also have the sysop flag for the Halo 3 Mythbusters Wiki, and another personal Wikia project. Thanks for your time, I will try my best to answer any inquiries you may have. Thanks. Support - I've seen that this user is very dedicated on the English Wikia, and that he has used his Rollback Rights effeciently and responsibly. I see no reason why his lack of edits here should really matter (he is over halfway), and granting him RR would only increase his edit account on this Wikia. Hello, Administrator team. I have come to possibly request Rollback Rights. I have un-done quite a few vandals, not alot, though. Even though I have had edit wars in the past but I have over 1,000 edits and I have been fighting vandalism:
- Halo Legends (and yes I had to revert it twice.)
- User talk:Vamis vinam (not really vandalism but it was spam.)
- Halo 3 Glitches (Very minor but it did mess up the page.)
- List of References to Aliens in Halo
- The Maw
- Sangheili
- Avery Junior Johnson
Although they were very far apart still I think that I might do well with Rollback Rights against vandalism. Most of the time I don't get vandals was because some other Rollback users come and get it. And I will mostly use Rollback Rights to combat vandalism while others I will use an edit summary. So can I have Rollback Rights? Hello my fellow admins. I am here to request for Rollback Rights. Here is my edit count. As you can see, I have way more than 1000 mainspace edits. Hello there Roll-backers, Admins and the odd Bureaucrats. I know my edit count is just 80 but I have a whole lot of experience on other wikis and have thousands of edits there. I am a Bureaucrat on the Starfleet Commander wiki (Link Above) which has almost 6000 users. Statistics. I hope to become an admin here in a couple of months after I get my edit count up to 5000. I also understand what I did wrong earlier this year. I still think the actions were way to harsh of being blocked for 1 month for disagreeing with the admin. Yesterday, I ran into an unregistered contributer who edited a page 5+ times to completely mess up the statistics within it. Although I was able to copy and paste the old version of the page over all the edits, having rollback rights would make it easier for me in the future. I'm pretty active here, as you probably know, and have well over 1,000 edits. I would like rollback rights to prevent having to do the copy-paste technique again... It would be faster.--Fluffball Gato 00:08, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

- Well, this is the edit I was referring to. I revert all vandalism I see, but I often change the summary from "undo revision by" to my own. I can look for more if you want, but I only revert edits that are obviously vandalizing the page or untrue. --Fluffball Gato 23:57, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
Support - User meets requirements. General5 7 talk contribs email- Neutral — Normally I don't vote in the "I have no opinion category, but i'll make one up anyways" category, but you honestly don't seem to need Rollback status. Multiple times you have been frustrated by my colleagues (with Admin/B-crat, and rollback status) who revert anything without a reason. In the past, you seemed to start small editing conflicts which got you in the crosshairs of more senior editors. Like you said, the "undo reversion" button is largely your preference for dealing with things. User:CommanderTony/Sig

Re-request (?): Stryker117 (Passed)
Hey, Admins. I requested rollback back in 2008 (before my two-year vacation from Halopedia), and had my request approved. However, I don't seem to have the ability to rollback edits, nor am I in the list of users w/ rollback privileges.
So I guess I'm requesting rollback again. While I don't have a huge amount of vandalism-reverting to list here like most of the other users, I do mark useless pages for deletion whenever I come across them. I have also created some 250 articles, so I'd like to think I know what a good article looks like.
Please consider my request, and if you decide that I should have rollback rights, I'll make sure to put that privilege to good use.
// ŝтŕγκęŕ [ COM | LOG/M | LOG/S ] 01:54, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Neutral - I cannot find any evidence in your logs that you once held rollback (most likely due to a shift in log clearing that occurred back in 2008). That aside, your edits are by no means on the low side, but you only recently became active; if you keep up that good work and in the meantime provide examples of vandalism reverts, I'll grant your request. Have a nice day! - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 06:35, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Example of vandalism revert
- Another example - I know this looks kind of wierd, but on this one, I didn't notice that he had edited it twice, so my undoing of his later edit just reverted it back to his earlier one. I alerted an admin and it was subsequently fixed.
- It's not much, but it shows (especially the second example) that rollback could really help me revert vandalism. Thank you, // ŝтŕγκęŕ [ COM | LOG/M | LOG/S ]
- You do not require rollback to mass revert multiple edits. To do so, go to "History" and check between revisions and revert them with the "Undo" button. Rollback simply allows all this to be done in a click. That said, a couple of reverts isn't, in my opinion, satisfactory for a rollback request. Sorry if I sound harsh this way, but I need a few more from you to consider this. - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 18:07, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

Hello, admins. As you all know, I have been active on Halopedia for several years, especially as of late. I have undone countless unconstructive edits and acts of vandalism, particularly over the last six or so months. I seek to uphold Halopedia's high standards of excellence and thus actively fight against editors - especially IP users - who would mar this wiki's pristine quality. Similarly, I mark unneeded articles and images for deletion as soon as they are posted, especially when they are of low quality. I feel that rollback rights would make this task a lot easier. As of this writing, I have made 3,112 mainspace edits. Here is my list of contributions, should you wish to review them. Secondly, you're only here for less than month, not even sure of the Manual of Style (e.g. placing this request on the top of the page, until it was fixed by an admin). Hello Admins (Yes, I somehow learned that only admins can comment on these requests), I've been part of Halopedia for 2 years already, and on the start of my third year, I would like to request for rollback rights.
I have met the requirement of 1,000+ edits and while I understand that I have barely battled any vandals except for someone who changes the infobox codings and breaks links (here, here, here, here, and here) and two minor vandal, I'm certain that I have undone numerous incorrect information, and here are some examples linked below:
- Avery Junior Johnson
- YSS-1000 Sabre
- Landfall
- SOEIV
- John-117
- Delta Halo (level)
- The Pillar of Autumn (Halo: Reach level)
I am also a janitor, having cleaned up some of the articles here, and here are some examples:
- Rtas 'Vadum
- Military acronyms
- The Heretic
- Halo 3: ODST credits
- Prophet of Regret/Quotes
- List of Marathon references in the Halo series
- Incendiary gel
- Rations
I have also undone several unconstructuive edits by a single user in one edit, which would have been easier with rollback. If you want to see more, here is the list of my contributions. Thank you for your considerations, and no matter what your decision is, I will continue to do my best in Halopedia. —S331 (When I played Halo: CE, we didn't have any fancy-shmancy armor abilities...) 11:16, 20 September 2011 (EDT)

Hello, fellow Halopedians, I'm here to request rollback rights. I have been very active on Halopedia for much of these past couple years on multiple articles I'm monitoring. I have as of recently, 36,250 edits made. I think I'm very responsible and thus I believe I deserve to have these rights. I'm currently fighting a severe vandal on the MA5B page at the moment. I scored as one of the top spellers of my class and am also good at grammar and punctuation. I have done my best to clean up on grammar, punctuation and spelling errors, as well as fixing outgoing links on multiple pages. As I have demonstrated, I believe I can use this tool to effectively battle vandalism and imperfect contributions and edits made by others. Thank you for your time in considering my request for rollback rights. By the way, if nobody hasn't already done so yet, could somebody please block this guy so they can't make any more bad edits. Thanks. --Xamikaze330 12:39, 19 January 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330
- The IP you referred to isn't really a severe vandal; more of a newbie who isn't knowledgeable on how to edit properly (ie. good faith editor). While you do satisfy the criteria for rollback rights, a couple of things:
- You actually have 3,111 edits (at the time of me writing this), not 36,250.
- Can you please link a couple or so more instances of anti-vandalism edits?
Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about your constructive work, but I need to see some more anti-vandalism edits before I grant you this :) - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 13:05, 19 January 2012 (EST) Well, I may have at least that much points, but I do know I have over 1,000 points. But other instances which I believe may be a vandalism, is fighting here on the Mgalekgolo page and here on the Unggoy page. Additional editing conflicts that I now consider as an act of vandalism, on the Delta Halo page, where someone keeps adding a bullshit seven reference, something similar to what I did a long time ago, and I posted it in the talk page of the talk page of the Un-ID'd ODST squad, to which everyone else declared it to be a bullshit seven reference. I had to agree.
- Points =/= Edits. You do meet the criteria so that doesn't matter much, but again, those aren't anti-vandalism edits. That's merely reverting poor or grammatically incorrect edits. Which good work in itself, don't get me wrong, but not the type of work that you would use rollback for. When reverting edits that are merely poor, either correct them or revert them with an explanation. Rollback should be used only against edits that are blatantly vandalism or in rare cases just plain obvious as to why they should be reverted (other than poor wording/grammar/etc). - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 16:14, 26 January 2012 (EST)
- Very well. I suppose I have the right to withdraw my request for rollback rights... but if I do, I can't reopen my request again, can I? I'll need to think on this, if that's all right... --Xamikaze330 16:42, 26 January 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330

So far I have only one instance of combatting vandalism, of which I am still on the lookout for, whenever I check my watchlist or recent changes. I have always hated any and all forms of vandalism, and as such have been fighting vandalism on other wikis. On the link to the aforementioned anti-vandalism instance, you will noticed that I needed a little extra help in fighting this, since all my attempts to return the page back to its original state before the vandalizing, which forced to me to copy and paste all text from before to fix the problem. - Can I ask, is it too early to request to become a Patroller, or should I wait? --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 16:17, 28 June 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330

- In answer to your query, yes, I have. I would love to become a Patroller, but only if there is need for another. Hey fellow Halopedians. Its been about 2 years since I joined (2012) and I finally climbed past the 1000 edits milestone. I was looking to gain rollback rights since I've demonstrated impeccable skill at combating vandalism. I combated vandalism on multiple occasions, even against someone vandalizing my own talk page but recently I had to combat someone who managed to vandalism multiple pages without anyone noticing (early in the morning!). There are too many to list so just check my contribs and look for the 13th of July. I know I haven't been as active as before but I do check the recent changes page a lot because I'm always interested in what's going on and of course I love the Halo universe. In fact on that particular day I was checking the page when I encountered that person editing all those articles and had to step in to reverse the mess he started. So if I had those rights they would come in handy in case this crap happens again. If I haven't earned them yet than its okay since this is my first time requesting this.--Killamin7 [Comm|Files] 12:34, 26 July 2014 (EDT)

Request: CIA391 (Passed)
Hello everyone, I'm CIA391 as many of you might know. I have over 3,000 edits and have been here since the 2015(kinda in 2010 but I really wasnt active then), so I was hoping I could apply to get rollback rights to see if I am up to the challenge and maturity to become a Patroller later. I really hate vandalism on this site, so much work has been put into the pages, that I don't want to see it all go to waste. While I still have a lot to learn on the site, I hope to at least help when I can.
Recently there has been a vandal, and I been defending pages from that user so the pages can stay up useful to other users. So I feel if I had rollback rights, I could fend off vandals even easier in the long run "if" they return. Regardless of what you lot vote, no hard feelings(I still like ye all)-CIA391 (talk) 19:03, 21 January 2017 (EST)
