Why don't we want things showing up on Wanted Pages? --Dragonclaws(talk) 21:46, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Because of red links. Red Links will cause the Wikia Bot to asks users to create them via My Home.- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 21:49, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
And this is bad because of newbies who won't understand how to properly handle them? --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:04, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
No, we just want to get rid of all the red links.- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 22:06, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Isn't the Wanted Pages list an efficient way to handle that? (is confused) --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:11, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
*Becomes confused* The Wanted Pages list all the Red Links. We don't like Red Links, thus redirect them to this page. Doing that will prevent Wikia Bot to ask users to create them.- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 22:19, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Do you want to get rid of red links because they are aesthetically displeasing? Isn't the better way to handle it to make sure either the red links lead where the user intends or to remove them from the source? --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:22, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Yes. *Becomes confused* My blog details what to do with red links. I suggest reading it again. :P - 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 22:24, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
I just remembered something: certain red links are located in User's Userpages where some are edit-able only by that user. Those are the red links that should be redirected to this page.- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 22:28, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
A lot of them are idiotic, ie. "O,Mally". They are linked from a user's Userwiki turned Userpage... which cannot be edited normally, at least not by non-sysops. This leads to a pile-up of unneeded, unremovable redlinks. If a noob sees them, they'll get made as gibberish articles: ie. "wefwegerwgnerughreigrerg".-- Forerunner 22:27, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
I see. I'll be trying to address them. --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:37, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
