Internally, Hellcat armor was known by the codename "''A084''", with the in-game model produced by Airborn Studios.{{Ref/Site|D=01|M=6|Y=2020|URL=https://www.artstation.com/artwork/da821|Site=Artstation|Page=Halo 5 Multiplayer Armor Hellcat|Detail=The render's filename, <code>airborn-studios-h5-a084-marmo-hellcat.jpg</code>, reveals the armor's codename.}} The armor's original design was created by [[343 Industries]] concept artist [[:Category:Images by Kory Lynn Hubbell|Kory Lynn Hubbel]], in conjunction with fan Andrew Thivyanathan - who had won a contest with the charity Child's Play to design an armor. Thivyanathan wanted to base the armor on that worn by the [[Ancient humanity|ancient human]] soldiers, and the two worked to come up with the design seen in-game.
