I just got done watching the Halo 4 campaign trailer (online) during the XBOX E3 2012 Briefing, and I'm absolutely amazed at the game so far. I'm definitely getting it now. I saw the [[Crawler|crawlers]] which appear to be robotic sentient machines, some sort of floater machines (which throw back plasma grenades) and some other type of machine (maybe the [[Watcher|watchers]]) who are absolutely a challenge to fight based off what I saw. I also saw two new "[[Forerunner]]" weapons, forgot what they are called. Also the [[UNSC Infinity]] makes a crash landing inside [[Requiem]], something I wasn't expecting (or hoping for that matter). I hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone but I had to express my opinion somewhere. :I'm hoping that the Infinity can be repaired and leave, at least some time in this trilogy. Like I said on the other page, it was pretty much "Oooo, a really cool awesome ship! It's been under construction for 20 years! It's where Multiplayer's set! ::Well its obvious to me that 343i is keeping Bungie's tradition of having famed UNSC ships damaged and/or destroyed in the face of battle. However based on this File:H4-E3-Campaign-10.jpg I suspect that the UNSC ''Infinity'' will be, at some point in the game, back in the air and supporting the chief, possibly in a way similar to the target locater from Reach (would be a nice touch). I'm assuming on the first mission, you make it to the Infinity, get rid of the Prometheans & Covies, and help Del Rio get the ship back in the air. I thought Spartan Ops would take place before Halo 4, not after. I guess thats why they said it'll bridge the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5. Then that means Halo 5 may also take place on Requiem. Or am I talking to soon? :Cortana's "THIS! IS! SPARTA!" phrase really gave me the chills. Talking about gameplay, I was a bit... speechless when I saw a grenade indicator on the HUD. I felt that that was a bit unnecessary for 343i to include that. I mean, a shining blue light on the ground that's emitting a high-pitched detonation sounded. That might not be a grenade. Hm. Also, I like how they gave the Chief the opportunity to talk during gameplay. ::::It's probably just layered wrong, and is supposed to be behind the Infinity. I too find the grenade indicator to be odd, only because I don't think it's really needed. Now, before I go any further, I have to say that I don't know anyone who plays Halo who doesn't wish that our good friend Avery Junior "Kick Your Ass" Johnson could still be with us. He was a major part of what made Halo what it was and is. Now, that said, Halo needs a funny guy or group of funny guys and girls to be the foil for the ultra-serious and mostly silent John-117 and the funnier but also secretly bat shit crazy Cortana. In my personal opinion, Halo already has a ready made group of such: the ODSTs. These guys have their own unique brand of funny, as anyone who's ever watched Firefly and Serenity can attest to. I was thinking to myself, what are the chances of these guys coming back.

According to Commisioning, the UNSC Infinity has 17,000 crewers. That is Army and Marine Corps division size, which would mean at least a Rear Admiral in charge. The Infinity would likely have a strong ONI presence aboard. These factors make room for a couple officers of Captain rank, meaning Veronica Dare could be aboard. Second, the ship would probably carry at least a regiment of marines, maybe two or three. Edward Buck would probably have been promoted to at least Sergeant Major, if not directly to officer for his actions during the Battle of Earth, which means that their are plenty of places for him and the rest of the squad. --[[User talk:Sierra 109|Sierra 109]] 12:41, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

:Well first, see [[Halo_4#Audio|this]] for the so-called funny people that should appear in Halo 4. However this game might not have too much comic relief considering its a DARKER title than Halo 3. Other than them I'm sure we may get another ''kick your ass'' character that may remind us of Johnson. Also I wouldn't count on many returning characters- new game, new story, new characters.
