Hi, I was just wondering what the difference is between this site (Halopedia) and the other site (Halo Nation), they're both on the same game, so why have two wikia's? --JF117 18:51, 10 August 2011 (EDT)

Halo Nation is the site run by wikia, while this is its own site. This is the official Halopedia, Halo Nation is a site struggling to keep up with Halo information and doomed as a wikia. (But at least it has a lot of images.) BushWookie^Camper

The difference between the two is that Halo Nation acts as a social encyclopedia for players while Halopedia is a more story-orientated wiki. Halo Nation is the older of the two (I think) and was used to host the Halopedia for several years. Actually, ProfessorStalhmanSaysHello, Halo Nationals (not Halo Nationalists - those guys are nutjobs) seem much more social and view Halopedia as an oppressive regime ruled by cold, hartless dictators (Oh how I love being the villain) whom punish inexperienced users with capital punishment as wreckers (that's a political word). No, no, no you dont understand do you? You have to log in to edit on Halo Nation you DO NOT have to do it on Halopedia thats why it think Halo Nation are unfriendly. Its like two Doctor Who parallel universes in an episode called Inferno right:

Halopedia is THIS universe where its pretty much normal, people are friendly etc.

Halo Nation is the ALTERNATIVE universe where everyone is against the protaganist and its governed by a fascist regime, the atmosphere on Halo Nation just seems very dull compared to Halopedia. --ProfessorStalhmanSaysHello 10:34, 13 August 2011 (EDT)

We all get that Halopedian supports that we continue our editing here, as opposed to the wikia site, but making false, biased claims about Halo Nation isn't really necessary. The community isn't necessarily "meaner" or anything, Halopedian is just the new Halo Nation after the administrators of the original site had decided to transfer the wiki. Halopedian is updated much more often than Halo Nation now, and it is suggested that users come here for more accurate information, and continue editing here in order for Halopedian to grow. Halopedian is certainly not the original Halo wiki, it is merely what formed from the original site that cannot be deleted after the content transfer. I checked - our own biography was wrong! Halopedia is still older, though. Halo Nation was formed as "Halo Wiki" in or before June 2005 as an unrelated wiki that Halopedia later merged into in mid-2006 for financial reasons.-- Forerunner 15:26, 13 August 2011 (EDT)
