Forum:How did you think up your username?
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Hello Boys and...Caboose of Halopedia! I, KillerCRS (Or Kwarsh, as most of you know me) am here today to ask you a question. How did you think up of YOUR username? I suppose my story isn't really all that complicated, but I'll start.
Kwarsh
I was on Newgrounds, thinking of an account name, when it hit me "Killer_Chris". I made that my name, but the guy who owned newgrounds said "No more underscores". So i was in the process of changing my name to KillerChris, but, someother asshole did before I clicked "Ok". Si I thought, and I was like: "Whoa, CRS looks like chris!" and I made it that. I've been using it on multiple websites ever since.
Now, to explain "Kwarsh". I was playing Halo 2, on Gravemind, when I challenged a Grunt to one-on-one. Apparently, he didn't want it that way, and he ran away making a Grunting noise that resembled "Kwarsh!". After that, and Ultra Grunt appeared, but he wouldn't shoot me, but was following me throughout the level. We got to the end, with the Ultra Elites with the Fuel Rod Guns, but an Angry Brute killed him. I was enraged, and punched an Elite in the back of the head, stealing his Energy Sword, and picking off Brutes one-by-one.
- Your turn!

Caboose
Well, I was thinking: Hmm, another wiki thing about Halo. Awesome! I should totally be Caboose, after all he is my favorite character in RvB (I was a relatively new fan at the time, having discovered the show only a few weeks prior) and Ta Da! Caboose was born!--Caboose Orange Juice and Cookies 03:21, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
The Chazz025
Go to newgrounds type in irving on the search bar, and watch the clip. That is were I got the name irving. Now The Chazz is a complete diffrent story, I had a weird dream about my friend sky diving with a bear named The Chazz. It was weird because the bears could talk and he was sky diving weird huh?, Peace.--The Chazz025 and Clan 04:05, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Dragonclaws
Usually, my username is Nogard (dragon backwards) because I'm a fan of dragons. But because Halo is a fighting game, I made several more warrior-like names for accounts in Halo 1. As Halopedia was a Halo wiki, I decided to use one of the dragon-related ones, Dragonclaws, in place of Nogard. --Dragonclaws(talk) 06:04, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
RR's Derivations
- On some day in April or May 2006, RR decided to join Wikipedia to edit the Imperial-class Star Destroyer article. Sad, yes, but he shored that up by helping out with a lot of the biology and chemistry pages. =D He wanted to edit ASAP...and he thought of a random name: Relentless. But he felt that would be too aggressive...and instead of rewriting it, RR was dumb enough to make it even more aggressive by making a second word: Rogue. Except he spelt it wrong, and only when he ran for administratorship did two peoples point out that it was a mispelling - RelentlessRouge (supposed to be RelentlessRogue
- RR then joined the h2wiki (Halo 2 multiplayer tactics, sister to Halopedia), but spelled it correctly, and his name there was RelentlessRogue.
- RR was still a major contributor to Wikipedia, working substantially on Halo articles. When the AfD process came around (Articles for Deletion - an utterly stupid process, as agreed by Sansee, a Wikia global administrator), the plasma torpedo and MAC gun articles were to be deleted. RR had in fact written the plasma torpedo article and made significant changes to the MAC gun article. RR searched for a place to move them before they were deleted...Halopedia! RR joined quickly as RelentlessRogue, transferred the bewildered articles. If you see my 1st talk archive, you can see indeed that I was RelentlessRogue. And no fancy sig. =D This was in July 2006.
- After his vacation in August 2006 in France (where he edited the Covenant Destroyer, Covenant Cruiser, Template:Cleanup, etc... pages from a laptop with Frenchy all over it =D), he took a prolonged break from Halopedia, and instead spent his time at Wookieepedia as RelentlessRecusant...see the story at the next bullet point under the name
- RR came back in maybe...September 2006? November 2006? However, he didn't want to continue as RelentlessRogue...RR is a major Star Wars fan, and read that the 850-meter Recusant-class light destroyer was a C.I.S. starship featured in Star Wars: Episode III (Star Wars: Cross-Sections, Episode III), and was enlightened and obsessed by Recusant. Relentless + Recusant = RelentlessRecusant. =D
Cheers,
RelentlessRecusant 'o the Halopedia Team TALK • SPEAK 16:50, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Rotaretilbo
Ah the history of my name. Tis been so long. Our story begins in the latter half of 2002. I am in eighth grade. At the beginning of the school year, I met a group of guys who produced video games on the side. I promptly joined. We originally called ourselves Juvenile Industries. It was founded by Bear and included myself, FrozenFish, TheEvilOctupusMan, I-N00B, and AgentSanaiha. We had a couple game ideas, our main one being something Bear thought up where you played a square that played the saxaphone, and you battled many circles (representing the masses). The final boss was The Onhcet (techno backwards). We never got around to making it though. Not long after creation, Bear met Monkey, and together, they created Crazy Donut Productions, which included all of those in Juvenile Industries and added Monkey as a co-founder. Around this time, we began work on Kill Zone (I would like to note here that we chose that name for our game long before Sony changed their game Kin to Killzone; we did not copy them, if anything, they copied us). Bear informed me that at the end of the game in the credits it would use screen names rather than real names. He told me I needed one. At the time, my only screen name was Crazy Donutian, at my first forum, ACC. Of course, since we were all Crazy Donutians, that wouldn't work. My next screen name, at EH (R.I.P.) was based on my name, Brandon Rebuga. However, that didn't work well either. So I began playing with things. At one point, I thought about Bob the Bringer of Doom, who was also named Robert Mood (because mood is doom backwards). I then began playing with backwards stuff. I came up with Robert Rotaretilbo (obliterator) and Robert Espylocopa (apocolypse). I liked saying Rotaretilbo better, and I cut the Robert. When I got Battlefield Vietnam (my first PC FPS and the end of my console only gaming), I used Rotaretilbo as a screen name.
As for Master Gunnery Sergeant Hank J Wimbleton IV, he is a character in my fanon. The name is derived from several things. First, I have always liked the sound of Master Gunnery Sergeant, and I like the Marine Corps. Second, Hank J Wimbleton is the star of one of my favorite flash animation series (Madness Combat). Finally, I added IV to the end to show that this was not the Hank of the 21st century. I chose 4 because it is my lucky number.

H*bad
Well I was born January 18... and... oh it's about my username... right. Well I used to be at a wiki called HRWiki, where I came up with my name. First I thought about my favorite characters from that wiki and I combined their names. One of the names was Homestar, then another was Strong Bad. So I thought: H*(Homestar) and Bad (Strong Bad). And there it is.--H*bad 17:29, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Ares.117
It all began with Halo Wars ..... Sadly I do not remember when but around the time when I discovered the Halo Wars RTS site I had recently played the Xbox game ''Spartan Total Warrior''. The final boss was an amazing looking god called Ares. Who happened to be the God of War in greek. So as it was I chose Ares. However unfourtunately someone had taken that name. Thus I added .117 to the end of my nam in the Halo Spirit. It's like walking down memory lane..... and now this thing isn't letting me sign my name. strange.
ED
People call me "Ed" at school (No, it's not my real name) and I was "ED" at old.halopedia. But when we transferred to new.halopedia, "Ed" was already taken by someone else on the network, so ED has become my primary contributing name on Halopedia and Starcraft Wiki. I also own the username "Ed!" for obvious reasons. --ED 20:49, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Grievous797
It all began with star wars episode 3...I saw that movie and I said wow grievous was cool in that movie so I started using that name and then I made up a random number "797" so then I put them together and voila Grievous797 was created!Grievous797
Guesty-Persony-Thingy
I was at HBO, and I wasn't logged in, but I wanted to post (long time ago, as you hopefully know). But I also wanted to be distinguished from other guests, so I typed in Guest, then made it Guesty, since I always put -y on the end of nouniess and adjectivies and other wordies. Then I thought that's too weird (LOL!), so since I'm a person it should have Persony too. But I'm not REALLY a person, I'm more of a thing... so I put Thingy on it too. Then eventually I registered. GruntyBalboa
It had been a long running joke between me and some friends about how Rocky Balboa was god and how, prior to the release of Halo 2, an Invisible Grunt would be comparable in power to the aforementioned Italian. We ended up coming to the realization that a combination of the two would create an existence ending entity the likes of which had never been seen. I created the moniker "GruntyBalboa" and have been using it for years now, the successor to my old name of InvisibleGrunt.

Spartan 1138
Well it first started as Delta 38 from Republic Commando. Then I expanded it to Delta 1138. Then I found Halo and now you have the one and only Spartan 1138. Occasionally there will be a MCPO in front to give some rank.--Spartan 1138 01:37, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Ursus_trooper153
I was tired of not being recognized for things that I did on the internet, and the fact that I don't yet have myspace, xbox live, IM, etc. So, as a Rabid (capitolized) Halo fan, I figured a good place to take my place among the ranks of those with user names would be halopedia. On 3, 1...2...3...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Now then, the etymology begins with my parents. When Mom and Dad were still dating and they were on a ski trip in Jellystone National Park. On the sign was a picture of Yogi and Booboo, they were bears. Dad tells Mom that it looked like them. Ever since, Dad calls Mom Booboo, and Mom calls Dad Yogi. It follows that my family addopted a sort of bear theme. We refer to ourselves as a "bear clan". I am Ryan bear or Little bear, as in goldilocks and the three bears. blah blah blah. Anyway, "ursus" is I think greek or latin for "bear", and they are also a symbol for strength and bravery.
The space is actually an underscore that doesn't show up.
The "trooper" part is simply because I am a fan of the Republic (star wars) and their clone troopers.
153 is the number you get when you add the numbers coresponding to each letter of my name Ryan Winstead.
Thus, you get Ursus trooper153

I am a big fan of Dragons, mythical beings, and fantasy(you now have a rival Dragonclaws!)Iwas thinking of a Dragon sort of name but I noticed there was a few already, soooo.... I thought of something I like more. A WRAITH is a mythical ghostmade of Dark Matter, they are silent killers, the monsters under the bed, the nightmare in your dreams.....It fits my Sniper/Assasin role I always use -- WRAITH COMM CONTRIBS 20:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

choosenow
Hmm. I was quite young when I made choosenow. I believe it was back in the day when I still played Runescape (this was when Runescape had just come out, I quit after about 7 days xD). Every name seemed to be taken (I wasn't very original then...), so I guess I was remonstrating myself or something and telling somebody to "choose now". I have no idea. Anyway, something along those lines. It's funny, cause I played Runescape for very little, yet now I use this name for everything. Online games, xfire, etc. The nickname lil azn man comes from a)the song and b)the fact that I'm little, asian, and male. lil azn man 23:57, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Guitarplayer001
I decided that since I like Ice cream I should name myself Guitarplayer001 no, really, it is pretty self explanitory, I am the #1 guitar player! (not really) I have only been playing for five years, however, I have improved greatly throughout these years, which can be confirmed by the fact that I can play the Van Halen guitar solo from the song Jump, have started to pick out parts of Eruption by Van Halen by ear, can play Spirit of Radio by Rush, have started to pick out a couple of Joe Satriani songs by ear, can shred in any of the musical modes with ease, can play Crazy Train, Iron Man, Rock 'n' Roll Band, have figured out how to make my guitar sound like an airplane flying overhead (with the doppler effect and everything, seriously, me and some people were at the beach, and I had pre recorded my "airplane" on my loop pedal, and I accidentally stepped on the play button, and we were all looking for the airplane, kuz it was loud and would've had to be flying very low), a car accelerating, a train, and several other things, I could probably pick out a lot of songs by ear, I have recorded in a professional recording studio, have been in several bands... you get the idea.

Krem Roy
This is actually a combination of words. Krem was derived from "Cremptigua" a tagolog word meaning to take out an enemy with dishonor, and gain. Krem is also derived from cream of the crop, or crem de la crem... Roy is derived from an indonisian word "Rioythuk" pronounced Roy-tuc meaning a annoying, angry, and small. Plus Roy is a nickname.
Ace99
Ive been using ace since i started to play that awesome flight simulator series ace combat. Before that i would make up random stuff from the top of my head....As for the numbers, i use 99, 91, or 2891. 91 is the year i was born, and 2891 is the day and year i was born. As for 99, i was playing Super Smash Bros Brawl and i got a score of 99. I don't know why i liked it, but 99 looked cool. (it was probably the font or something lol) So I've been using 99 for a lot of stuff since then. My gamertag is ACE2891.
KamakaziSparow
...Ok, you asked for it. Waaaaayyyy back in the day, when I was but a wee lad, I got my first "true" Shooter. It was and is one of my favorite games to this day, Battlefield 2. When selecting my nickname, I decided to choose A name that would strike a combonation of fear and laughter into my opponents. Thus I chose "Kamakazi", in honor of my somewhat suicidal tactics in the game, and spelt it wrong on purpose. But I required somthing more! So I added "Sparow", in honor of my seeming innocence. However, I was too lazy to use spellcheck, and thus, KamakaziSparow was born. It has stuck with me throughout my whole internet career. Specops306 Morhek
Mine is a short tale, certainly shorter than I had thought about. In the depths of time, I had a fanfic idea. It was stupid, and I swiftly abandoned it - a team of Spartans and an Elite, venturing into the galaxy to fight evil, and fightin tournaments. And guess what the Elite was called...
...yeah. See why I abandoned it? It was basically Dragonball Z in space, and was quickly abandoned, leaving a disgusted feeling in its wake. How could a mind such as mine have given birth to such unfathomable horror? And that was the end of it - Except that later, I created a Bungie.net account. Taking a name that had Spartan in it seemed an obvious choise - along with the millions of other people trying to pass themselves off as the Master Chief. And, alas, Spartan306 was taken. So I chose the next name that came to me, replacing the Spartan with Specops. And thus Specops306 was finally born. The 306 stands for my date of birth - the 30th of June. And that puts that mystery to bed!
I sometimes use the pseudonym Qur'a 'Morhek, which was the result of the Elite Namelizer - not that that's the name my own name produced. Instead, I got "Elma 'Mopadee," which I confess just doesn't stand up. So I created my own, using syllables I liked - Morhek is based on Mortumee, a character in The Flood, altering the last part of the name, while Qur'a takes its sound and spelling from Qu'ran, the Islamic holy book. Random, yes? -- Administrator Specops306 - Qur'a 'Morhek Honour Light Your Way! 23:05, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, how I made up my username happened not to long ago (actually not that long at all, just a couple weeks ago). I made a new Youtube Account called TickToXsiK a month or two ago and I wanted to mimic that account by remaking it here, at halopedia. So I did that (duh).
But it's not the only Halopedia account i've ever made. Some time in 2007 or something, I had created the account Needler667. It was a really stupid name, and I forgot the password to it too. 'Bout 5 years ago, my mom set my email account up. I don't know why but she put it as drgnblake (dragon + Blake [my name]). When I first got my 360 (just for Halo 3, really) it was the first thing I thaught of. I decided to make it more... epic so I made it Dragonblaze. I set my Spartan tag as O52. When I set my Halopedia account up, Dragonblaze was taken, then abondoned without any use, so I hyphenated them to form Dragonblaze-052. When I set up XBL, Dragonblaze was taken, yet again..., and I couldn't hyphenate it so my XBL is Dragonblaze052. It serves me well. I'm a pyro and fantasy/mythology addict. NOTE: Jorge stole my Spartan designation. Seriously, I had it like 500 years before him! Dragonblaze-052 23:44, 20 October 2010 (EDT)
Spartan-0093
When I got Halo and Halo 2, my profile was Spartan 93 (my birth year and one of my favorite #'s). When I joined Halopedia, I tried to use Spartan 93 as my username, but it wasn't accepted. SO, I added two 00's and a dash and here I am. So far, I don't think 93, 093, or 0093 have been credited to a Spartan in Halo, so I decided to stick with it. I might change the beginning part to Delta Spartan, kind of a long story to explain why. --Spartan-0093 ("TALK PAGE" ) 02:32, 22 October 2010 (EDT)
UserWiki:Phoenix Marathon]]
Well, when I favored the name when I was all famous 'n' all and making the crap out of Machinima cause' my Machiniman nname was "Phoenix Marathon"
Nowadays, I would have named myself "SPARTAN-A110" since he is the protagonist of my upcoming book "Halo: Revolution" and has many personalities of mine.—This unsigned comment was made by Phoenix Marathon (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Subtank
To be honest, it's supposed to be [Sub]Tank. The username was originally a PC Team me and my brother made back in 2006. There was [Sub]Pro, [Sub]Marine and me of course. It stuck with me afterwards... :P
Quite funny when you look back into the past. - 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 07:34, 30 October 2010 (EDT)

- I 2nd that. And sometimes it was referred to as "Subtle"... Tuckerscreator(stalk) 00:27, 24 November 2010 (EST)
- Sounds like my friend's group on Steam whenever he plays Half-Life: Opposing Force. His gamertag is Lone Wolf, but he had to add Recon to it becuase someone had taken Lone Wolf when he joined Halopedia. His group all had "Lone Wolf" in their gamertag, I think, but not entirely sure. --Spartan-0093 (Comm Channel 0-93) 23:49, 23 November 2010 (EST)
Odysseas-spartan-53
Spartan53 was my account name on Halo:CE. Since I've spent countless hours on Halo's multiplayer on PC, I thought I should use it as my username in Halopedia. The number doesn't have any special importance to me, it was randomly picked before starting the game's campaign. As for Odysseas, that's my first name, I added it to make my account a little more unique. I use this username only in Halopedia, in the rest of the interwebs, I am using a totally different (and certainly easier to pronounce :P) username. --Odysseas-Spartan53 03:44, 3 November 2010 (EDT)
Tuckerscreator
My cousin and I were once conjuring up ideas on a very strange day, for an epic stop-motion web series, ala the David Letterman show WITH BIONICLES!!! It was initially going to be called "Tick Tock", as an emphasis on its quick, snappy attitude, but afterward it got changed to "Tuck Talk", to reflect the name of the host and main character, Tucker-VonTaco-dubbed-Sir-Talkalot-by-The-Queen.
Afterward I needed a new email address, and since I was Tucker's Creator, and my old email "TingleWiiRemote" soundly vaguely disturbing... Tuckerscreator(stalk) 00:27, 24 November 2010 (EST)

I thought about Knight then I added trez. --Knightrez(Talk) 01:24, 24 November 2010 (EST)
Ac1d Re1gn 7
This is my gamertag. I got bored and thought of acid rain. Then I thought about trying a homonym, and reign came to mind. then I replaced the "i"s with 1s and then slapped a 7 at the end, because i was born on 7/7, AKA Bungie Day. And Ac1d Re1gn 7 was born.-- Ac1d Re1gn 7 15:20, 24 November 2010 (EST)
Nomanisat
Nomanisat was the name of the island the Mr. Incredible flies to in The Incredibles. I liked the name and it's original.
The Grave Mind
well, i think the grave mind is probably the single most deadly character of halo, he is incredibly intelligent, (such as myself) and i just like him. he has caused the death of hundreds of species, and retains all there knowledge, which is cool, soooo..... ya, rly cool, name sounds cool initself btw.

Felix is obviously my name. 119 is my lucky number. Pretty simple.
AKA Toad
my real name is todd but my nickname is toad and AKA stands for also known as.Бесславной ублюдок 17:00, 29 April 2011 (EDT)
Ultra Force
I was a huge fan of the Sangheili back then. I considered "Omega Force" at first but that was too...corny I guess. Suddenly the thought of Elite Ultras came to mind and then I realized "Ultra Force" would sound and look pretty cool. I still consider it as a good username to this day but my passion is now towards the Spartans. --UF
jedizora
Jedi from star wars, and Zora from The legend of zelda. I recentley learned there was a jedi named Zora. Zora is a female. I am very much male... Ugh. --Jedizora 17:06, 1 May 2011 (EDT)

Well actually, I got it by accident. When I signed up for Xbox live, I chose it instead of rename, and I just stuck with it. On Xbox live, computer sites, everywhere.--Blahmarrow 21:01, 3 May 2011 (EDT)

Xamikaze330
My story is fairly obvious. I liked the Japanese words "tora" (meaning attack) and "kamikaze" (meaning divine wind). Originally, it was the name of my Morxapanese Neo-Ninja Jedi Master character from my science-fiction stories, whom I at first called Tora Kamikaze, but then thought it too simple, so I rewrote it as Toraiin (Tor-ryan, or Tor-ion) Xamikaze, (the X sounding like a Z), which is also my username for my DeviantART account, and Xamikaze330 is my username for my Photobucket account, and not forgetting my Twitter username, Shazamikaze. And besides, I think it sounds a lot better and more cooler to say Toraiin Xamikaze than Tora Kamikaze. The 330 is part of of my letter-number designation I gave myself, ICO-330-367 (ICO being my initials for my (old) pseudonym (which I don't use much), "Ivan Cornelius Owens", my secret agent name. On the other hand, a better, more suitable pseudonym I am considering using is "Esteban Cornelius Owens", thereby making it ECO-330367.) Xamikaze330 is also the name I gave myself when creating an Xbox 360 profile. 330 is actually my real initials in something I call "calculetter" code (or is it actually Leetspeak?), which is actually 033 backwards, and if you look at it upside down, it will say EEO. That is the story behind my usernames. Xamikaze330 23:51, 21 June 2011 (EDT)Xamikaze330
Nohomers48
Because I wanted to contribute to Wikipedia as an actual user instead of an IP editor, I decided to sign up to the site. However, I ran into some difficulty thinking up a user name. At the same time as I was thinking up a user name I was watching the Simpsons episode where Homer becomes the leader of the Stonecutters Society. By the end of the episode he angers all of the members to the point where they all decide to leave and form the "Ancient Mystic Society of No Homers" to circumvent him. So I took that name and then used the first number that came to my mind to form my user name. And thus, "Nohomers48" was born. Nohomers48 05:43, 8 May 2011 (EDT)
S315
Well, I wanted a Spartan designation, and I thought...well, it has to be "S" something...and it should be a series of numbers that can somehow or other equal se7en. As it happens, my birthday is May 31...31st of May...31/5...3+5=8-1=7. Ergo, S315, which is also my designation for Halo: Reach.
FatalSnipe117
It was quite easy really. I took two words, and added 117. I'm not even that good of a sniper. . . pestilence Phil, pestilence! 21:18, 11 May 2011 (EDT)
TK 234
TK is a reference to the line from the original Star Wars movie, "TK 421, why aren't you at your post? TK 421, do you copy?" 2 comes from the SPARTAN-II project, and 34 is a reference to 343 Guilty Spark and also a reference to my (and Bungie's) favorite number. (3+4=7) --One who survived 17:17, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
Trooper1173 or Guardian
It was when i first played Halo Combat Evolved, I had to use a player name for the game files, and I decided to use the name Trooper since the Chief was serving with marines , and I dint know he was called a Spartan so hence I used the term Trooper. The numbers however were simple all the numbers are a reference to the first letters of my whole name(Kevin Gerard Cruz) in numerical order from A-Z so(K=11), (G=7), (C=3) hence 1173 and not related to 117 which I dint know were the chiefs numbers months later.
For the name Guardian, I came up with that name during gameplay to the extent my combat style was defensive tactics and protecting the marines as a habit so hence I was called Guardian meaning protector or defender.
Raiderdline61 or Stingray
Mine is kind of boring, but here it is: The first time that I played organized football, I was on the Raiders team (my hometown team, that was named after the NFL's Oakland Raiders), I was on the defensive line (a.k.a D-line) and my number was 61. I've stuck with that name ever since. Before that I always used Stingray444, but other people used that on a lot of sites, so I changed it to Raiderdline61 --Raiderdline61 "7777777" 21:55, 21 May 2011 (EDT)

I got mine by combining my real name and my favorite character from the dresden files
M94 Mushroom Man
It's my Bungie.Net account name.
Brute Honour Guard
Well, I always thought the switching of the guard was one of the most interesting events that happened in the Halo 2 Campaign. It was unexpected, dramatic and was one of the causes of the Great Schism, which ultimately lead to the end of the Covenant. I liked Jiralhanae Honour Guards in particular because they looked far more interesting and imposing that the rest of the Jiralhanae ranks due to the fact that they were equipped with highly ornamental and ancient armour, were as the other ranks essentially looked like Chewbacca.
I liked the appearance of the Jiralhanae in Halo 3 and thought it was a big improvement over Halo 2. But I still felt kind of disappointed when I found out that Bungie decided to leave them out of Halo 3. Once I had decided to sign up for Halopedia. I thought naming myself after one of my favourite ranks of Jiralhanae would be interesting. Besides, I personally believe that the Jiralhanae don't receive nearly as much as attention as Spartans and Sangheili do. Someone needs to show the Jiralhanae some love. :P
I spelled it in British English because it only felt natural to me, as someone who has spent his entire life in England. --Brute Honour Guard ("Talk") 15:18, 22 June 2011 (EDT)
Iota Eta Pi
Well, for about a week I was incredibly obsessed with Greek letters. I was looking them up on Wikipedia one day and listened to the pronunciations on the page. Then it clicked in my head: "Iota" sounded like "You ought to" or "You oughtta'," "Eta" sounded like "Eat a" and "Pi" sounded like "Pie." And so I made the clever saying of "You oughtta' eat a pie" using only Greek letters.
Nano Flood
The first time I played Halo 3, on flood gate, I got infected every 10 seconds. So This profile is named after the little basters.
Shadowklaw
One time I was playing Mariokart Double Dash and I was playing on the Luigi's Mansion map with my friend and I was throwing bombs at him. After awhile I started saying cawing like a bird when i threw a bomb. Then I started using that as my name in games. Eventually it turned into klaw because I thought it looked better then caw and then later on it turned into shadowklaw.
Sierra 425
Not much to it, just used the call sign for a Spartan combined with the numeric spelling of my name; [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and "N"... I mean [REDACTED]
Halo Face
My girlfriend threw my Master Chief action figure at me and it left an imprint of the helmet for a while.
Sor
It's "soar" without the "a" or "sore" without the "e," the latter of which is how I like to make my enemies feel, LOL. Sor 06:55, 28 August 2011 (EDT)

Wilco is my first name, on an other site Wilco was already used so I made it Wilc0. Since then I use Wilc0 on all sites (or Wilc0NL if necessary).

I love Canadian Harp Seals so I put it with my favorite number.
Pvt. Gruntly
i had intended to be Gruntly however, that was taken, so because of the nature of the halo universe with the marines and such, i became Pvt. Gruntly

I've always been a fan of sniping, I was reading FoR and I saw Linda, the original spartan sniper, used .450 sniper rounds for the capture of Watts, that's it. Col. Snipes450 15:21, 6 December 2011 (EST)

PuRe WoZZy
Well it was my XBL Gamertag first so I'll tell you how I thought that up. Before I got my Xbox live membership me and my friends were trying to come up with a gamertag. We decided that part of it was going to be WoZZy (my nickname). Then my friend read his bottle of water and it said 'Pure Water' so then he suggested 'PuRe WoZZy'.And so the username was born! - PuRe WoZZy
Anonymous ONI agent
I started out as an IP editor on Halo Fanon. When I made my first few articles, I wanted to mark them as mine, so I added in writer templates, not really understanding how they were meant to be used. Instead of putting in my IP (frankly, at that point in time I had never heard the term IP or IP address before) or creating an account right then and there, I put in the name “an anonymous ONI agent".
When I finally did decide to create an account, I remembered that I had put that name in those templates, and thus, not wanting to have to change the pages and being the chronically lazy person that I was and largely still am, I tried putting that same name as my actual username. But I screwed it up and put "Anonymous ONI agent" instead of "an anonymous ONI agent", so I still had to edit the writer templates anyway.
However, despite the fact that the name only exists thanks to my own knavishness, laziness, ignorance, and forgetfulness, I've grown really attached to the name, and I now use it or some variation of it as my username just about everywhere, except, somewhat ironically, on Xbox LIVE. I've always liked being unique, and that's what I think my username is: unique.

Spartacus
Some of you may not know my bloody awful first name...(cough), Halofan1234, (cough). Spartacus, unlike my bloody awful first name, I felt was a little more unique. I almost chose Leonidas, but thought that Spartacus sounded a little more Halo-ish. Both those names are way better than some random guy named Halofan1234, which sounds like some dude that wants to get you into a scam.-- Col. GMASTER
I guess it could be considered somewhat of a case of Dyslexia. I was thinking up of names on the Original XBOX for a username, and one of my brothers mentioned Gamster (a mix of Gangster and Gamer), and I simply switched the M and A, thus a legend was born...
Killamint
Pretty much a username I use almost everywhere online but decided to use it here. It mostly means "Kill-a-minute" but shortened without the "ute". Also reflects my nickname called by other people, "killa", when they don't feel like pronouncing my name.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 12:49, 27 August 2012 (EDT)

Siphon117
When I first got an xbox with Halo 2, I made my origonal name Shifter. Once I got a 360, i changed it to Shifter117, because I thought it sounded cool, and at the time my highest priority was completing halo 2 on legendary. Once i got exbox live, I had to change it to Siphon 117 to join, for shifter 117 was taken, or something like that. When I finally got a account on Halopedia, I decided that I would use my gamertag as my username. Ane there you go, thats where my username comes from. Siphon 117 15:56, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
H4M
When I first started editing wikis, I went by the name "Halo4master", since there was a lot of hype. H4M was given to me as my nickname by my peers, and I eventually just started using it as my regular username, seeing as how it was more original. H4M CONTACT 16:03, 11 December 2012 (EST)
craZboy557
I actually first thought of this when I was like 5 or something. Still fits today though. craZ is because I sorta am, boy is due to my one x and one y chromosones, and 557 is cause my older sister once used those numbers at the end of her username because for some reason a lot of people thought of the username tawanda at that site. I think I'll drop the boy part of my username once my voice gets deep. At a cetain point that part of my username will just become creepy. And, one last fun fact, I thought of my username before I really had any sites on which to use it, and I just think it's kinda cool for that. This is craZboy557, with the best frikkin username ever, signing off. 14:14, 24 January 2013 (EST)

When i got addicted with Warcraft III, i start to play X Hero Siege and comes up with a pair that i have to deal it.
