What is the difference between Category:Glitches and Category:Tricks and cheats?--Jsb 16:09, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I believe the creation of Category:Glitches was a mistake. However, it makes sense to make Glitches a subcategory of Tricks and Cheats because tricks are not necessarily glitches. --Dragonclaws 20:53, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Should this be a new article?

Falling of the Cliff only works in Halo because the vehicles are invincible and also the Covenant vehicals will be destroyed.

Walk Through

Walk to a VERY high cliff and that when you fall down you will die in the air. Grab a Warthog (because the tank is too slow) drive full speed toward the cliff and at the last moment turn for a spin and the momentum will keep you right-side-up and TA-DA! Grab popcorn and watch a 10 minute or more movie that could be very boring. Unfortunetly your marines on the warthog will die in the middle of the show.

At the bottom you will find yourself on a flat colourful land. Too boring to drive around.

invisible turret on Containment

I'm not sure if this is a glitch, or something weird on my Xbox, but I was mowing down enemies on a small machine turret, when somebody blew me and the turret to hell with a rocket. I later went back to the blown up turret, and it just showed the bent and burnt bottom part, but I could still get on and shoot out of it. It was pretty intense, watching bullets materialize out of thin air in front of me.

Frozen Elite in Pillar of Autumn(Level)

My brother and I were playing Halo CE for Xbox. And he took control and made a Covenant Elite frozen in a melee pose. Sorry about not having a picture. No camera.

reply: i did something similar but it wasn't frozen, just looking at me, it wouldn't attack my teammates either. on PoA, as i ran threw the red corridor with no weapon just past a door. the game probably didn't load the script for me being in the corridor just as if i wasn't in the corridor.

Walk Through

1. Go to the room with the surprise Elite. As soon as it's done with the roar, make sure it can't run away into the darkened hallway.

2. Make it go to the hallway with the Marines.

3. Go towards the Marines until it says "Loading... Done"

Grunts on top of halo

I don't know if this has been discussed but I found some grunts on top of the level halo.There are found on top of the second lifeboat area.I think their are only found in easy mode.

New glitch on zanzibar

All of a sudden while i was driving a warthog my enemy shot something with the sniper then me and my hog where flying through the air like in a tank jump. can anyone figure out how this happened and put it in the glitch place.

Split into subcategories?

I believe dividing this section into sub-sections for each game is very important... On the main-page, I followed a link labeled "Halo: PC Tricks and Cheats" (or something of the sort) and I assumed the page it brought me to was just that. It turns out that most of the Tricks and Cheats where actually for Halo 2... Also, many of the pages in this section are not labeled as to which game they pertain to. This is awfully annoying and fixing this would likely be the first step in reorganizing this whole section... I don't know much about Tricks and Cheats because my knowledge of the Halo universe exists solely from playing "Halo: PC" and reading 1 1/2 of the books so it's up to all of "you know it alls" to do all the labeling... -Havanacus

New glitch i found(actuuly old to me) I've kept secret. If you havn't got the Halo2 autoupdate you can still do it. You can use blown up(human)turrents like a unblown up one. You just go up t it. Halo 3 button combo!

I was watching the Red vs Blue Episode "Getting the Call" on youtube and I found in the description, a button combo that had the player lower his or her weapon, like on Halo 2. It also mentioned about it being also posted on Bungie.

To put weapon down: Press and hold down both bumpers and triggers, A button, and Down on the D-Pad

It should probably work.
