Quotes from Halo 4?[edit]
I'm surprised we don't have a category of quotes from Halo 4 yet. I'm sure I've heard the Marines say some interesting stuff to the Chief during the campaign missions. Even the civilian scientists on the Composer level are heard saying some interesting things. The Spartan-IV's? Not so much. Maybe they are more chatty with the IWHBYD skull on, but that depends. But we can definitely use a space to add some Halo 4 quotes. S.g.ali (talk) 23:39, 8 September 2013 (EDT)
- Well, the wiki is currently covering quotes made by Sarah Palmer. However, do keep in mind it should be quotes and not spoken words. We don't need a comprehensive list of spoken words like what has been covered in UNSC Marine Corps/Quotes. "Contact!", "Yes, sir?", "I wanna go home now!", "Die traitor!" and "Boo-yah" are not good quotes. (>_<")
- That said, as the wiki relies on user contributions, add them into their respective pages but keep in mind of what I said above. A page containing quotes, not spoken words/trivial dialogue. — subtank 11:42, 9 September 2013 (EDT)
- Yes, I noticed the Sarah Palmer page. And I'm sure that eventually there will be a page for things said by Lasky, Tilson, and Del Rio. I'm not interested in documenting everything the Marines say during the campaign. A lot of it, as you said, is triggered by some action in the campaign and it will be way too many of them to list out anyways.
- There are, however, some dialogue uttered by the Marines and the civilian scientists when they are standing idle. You stand and stare at them and they say a couple of lines of dialogue to the Chief. They say something about the Covenant, Innies, the Halos, other Forerunner stuff. Some even talk about the Chief himself. I would like to create a page specifically for that as what these minor characters say to the Chief serves to fill him in on what had been happening since the end of the war while he was away. - Well, we already have a quote page for Marines, as provided in the previous comment. As for scientists, they are categorised as civilians, so you can start a quote page for that article. What would be required in addition to this is to specifically state when the quote is made, i.e. Conan O'Brien speech easter egg triggered in Shutdown. — subtank 19:10, 10 September 2013 (EDT)
