Campaign and Firefight[edit]
- Armor lock is available in every campaign mission in Halo: Reach.
- Be patient. Wait for the Armor Lock to be released, then make your move.

Multiplayer[edit]
- Armor lock is very useful for Invasion, as enemy players often use "power weapons" and vehicles extensively.
- If you see an Armor Locked teammate surrounded by enemies, a well-timed grenade throw could eradicate the enemies thanks to the EMP, even if it does kill the teammate as well.
