Letters of Canon were letters that Halopedia and its fans sent directly to Bungie, 343 Industries or other official sources to determine specifics of canon. These letters for the most part are impossible to verify if they are real, and thusly can not be used as official canon.  
The text archives are a set of archives dedicated to archiving the various online texts and images related to the Halo franchise. These include but are not limited to archives based around articles published by parties related to the Halo franchise, interviews with people in the Halo franchise, and various miscellaneous materials that are useful.

Welcome to the Halopedia Archive, where we archive Halo media and other information on the franchise.

What is the Archive?

The Halopedia Archive is a collection of Halo media recovered from various sources, saved to preserve the information regardless of what happens to original and/or alternative sources. There are three different types of archives we collect: Text, video, and website.

How to archive

To add an archive to the Archive may depend on the media piece itself. If you have a request for an archive to be added, please put forward a request in the community proposals forum and we will try to add that quickly to the archive.
