Welcome to the Halopedia Archive, where we archive Halo media and other information on the franchise.

What is the Archive

The Archive is a collection of Halo media recovered from various sources, saved to preserve the information regardless of what happens to original and/or alternative sources. There is three different types of archives we collect. Text, Videos, and Websites.

How to archive

To add an archive to the Archive may depend on the media piece itself.

Text Archives

Bungie.Net

These are archives based on "Bungie" and their several versions of websites.

Halo Waypoint

These archives which took place on the Halo Waypoint platform.

Spartan Games

These are archives which took place on the Spartan Games platform.

Interviews

Main article: Archive:Interviews

These interviews are discussions between people linked to the Halo Franchise and have been verified.

Miscellaneous

This section is dedicated to the miscellaneous archives that are not tied to the above sections.

  • Jake Courage: This page was created on October 4, 2007 before the Jake Courage site was launched. When the site was launched it linked to the page on the wiki.

Video Archives

The video archives are hosted under the Halopedia Archive Youtube.

Website Archives

Halopedia hosts a "Web Archive" under archives.halopedia.org. This archive is hosted by Porplemontage and is maintained by us on the Halopedia team.

The archive is an ongoing project and will be updated regularly, however if you have a request for a site to be added, please put forward a request in the Community proposals forum here and we will try to add that quickly to the archive.

The below gallery is a list of what the current Archive has:

Below is a list of issues you may experience on the sites:

  • Believe, Halo3.com, Jake Courage require a "Flash" compatible browser.
  • Xbox.com Jake Courage's "The photos" section was impossible to recover. Some of the photos and their lore however are currently on Halopedia on the Believe page.
  • The Xbox.com Halo 4 site is acting odd, we are looking into it to fix this issue.
  • Pre-Mission Evaluations require a "Silverlight compatible browser.
  • Pre-Mission Evaluations has issues with the main videos on the site, to compensate we have made a playlist of all the "Interviews" (even the parts that work) so you can still experience the lore as given in late 2009.
