Fair enough. Next time, please make use of the preview button either way, as what's happened here is really excessive.

I've temporarily locked the Post-War conflicts page until such a time as you see this message and reply. Having 54 edits on one page in a short amount of time really isn't a good way of doing things.

Hey, just as a reminder please try to remember to use the preview button while editing. Having 20+ edits made on a page within the space of an hour is annoying to try and check through. Thanks.

The came has a worldwide release approximately 2hrs from now. After that, anything is fair game.

I'd still try and chapter source. :) Helps source exact information! A good way to imagine it is every chapter being a mini-story. That just so happens to be in one collection

Only exception I'd say is books (Anthologies do this) without chapters at all.

When adding sources, we tend to add chapters! :) I was looking though your Divine Wind refs and it was missing that. :( So its harder to verify a lotta stuff.

Hey, sorry - I had a power outage all day yesterday. Coudln't respond. Oblivion is HOblv - you can find the full list at Halopedia:Acronyms.

Hey man, sorry I couldn't respond - I was asleep lmao. For future use (just in case), you want the paramater Id=Name (where name is the name), then type {{Ref/Reuse|Name}} to call it again.

Hey man, just a quick heads-up. We don't do page citations anymore, we prefer to use chapters instead. Additionally, we've implemented a new system of doing citations based off templates rather than ref tags, to allow us to maintain consistent formatting across all references on the wiki. The gist of it can be read up on here. Hope it helps!

Not sure, I haven't read it. I'll ask the discord.

Oh yeah, the plan is to make pages on those operations.

The operations are the ones included with the Infinity Briefing Packet (aka the Halo 4 limited edition). Otherwise, if an engagement is minor I'd just follow the Battle of Installation 04 navbox, where a few just serve as redirects to sections of the main Installation 04 page. Another option to consider is something like the Battles of the Isonzo on Wikipedia, where several minor conflicts are merged into one page.

Sounds good to me!

Could you link the mission(s) in which it happens?

If not feel free to just write the page as you see fit, and we can discuss it properly on the talk page!

Should be? How many battles are there?

Should be done now.

If you let me know, I'll use a bot to fix up the links for you.

That could work yeah, you'll just wanna add a note in the top to distinguish the two.

Sorry about that, I'd assumed you'd missed the first attack - that's my bad. I feel like noting that they're the first and second engagements there is probably best, but otherwise I'm all ears.

The majority of pages on the site use the old reference style - we're pretty much going through and updating things as we get to them, but a lot of these kinds of rehauls are long term goals (a lot of things are scheduled for after the wiki merger is complete too, which could be a while yet...) I'm currently pushing to try and get the more updated (and hopefully comprehensive) guidelines posted in the help section for people to use for reference, as it's unfair to expect people to know what the right guidelines are if it's hard to know what the right ones are. A lot of things are scheduled for after the merger, sadly.

If a lot of other pages are doing it differently, then those ones are formatted wrong too. It might be an old style guideline that hasnt been updated to new standards.

Thats fair. We updated out referencing style in about 2018-ish, but a lot of the older pages follow the older ref style still. The referencing guide in the sidebar details it properly, should you need it!

Hey, I've reverted your reference formatting changes on the Outbreak on Installation 00 page (only just seen them, so apoligies for the late response on it). I'd take a look at the updated reference formatting guide (https://www.halopedia.org/Help:References), as the system you're using is the old Halopedia system we're phasing out.

For clarification, it's good to only link the same source (IE game, film etc) once in the references, and to use italics rather than bold around it. Everything else is best left un-altered as far as italics or bold are concerned.

Also, maybe you'd wanna move that content to the Battle of Carrow? Up to you!

Hi! Thanks for your addition to the Great Schism with the Hekabe information! I've merged Halo Nation's Sangheili-Jiralhanae conflict page to Halopedia, so I moved some stuff (including your stuff) to from Great Schism to there so it's in the right time frame. Just letting you know where your content is!
