Tantalus

Tantalus is a human colony located in the Epsilon Eridani system.[1] The current status of the planet is unknown.
Trivia
- The colony is likely named after a Tantalus of Greek mythology, or the city that bore his name.
- In the Halo: Reach live-action short Spaceport, Tantalus is a destination listed at the Manassas Spaceport.
- Tantalus and Jericho were originally mentioned in the 2001 version of Halo: The Fall of Reach, when Admiral Roland Freemont is requesting all UNSC ships from Epsilon Eridani, Tantalus and Jericho to aid in the defense of Reach. However, the 2011 Definitive Edition removes the mention of Jericho and Tantalus.[2]
