Template:New Content Template:Human Character Infobox Professor Evan Phillips is a human cultural anthropologist noted as being a highly fluent speaker of the Sangheili language and is part of the Intelligience unit Kilo-Five. He is said to be a very small and weak man who appears to be naive at first, but is surprisingly competent, even devious despite his almost child-like academic curiosity.[1]. He is also adept at the figuring out of the Sangheili toy and puzzle the Arum, a skill which earned him respect from the Sangheili.
In 2553, Phillips was recruited by the Office of Naval Intelligence for a diplomatic mission to Sanghelios.[1]
