The SPARTAN-IV Program was a planned supersoldier project authorized by the Office of Naval Intelligence. [1] It was to be led by Colonel James Ackerson, the project lead of the SPARTAN-III's; Dr. Catherine Halsey, the project lead of the SPARTAN-II's, was to be reassigned to this program.
