The UNSC Leviathan, affectionately known as the Levi,[1] was a United Nations Space Command Marathon-class cruiser commanded by Admiral Michael Stanforth. It was a veteran vessel, seeing numerous engagements, including the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV, where it took a plasma torpedo to its bow, starting fires in its foredecks.[2] After the Battle at Sigma Octanus, the Leviathan returned to Reach. It was apparently destroyed in the Fall of Reach, and Stanforth was among the crew that perished in the battle.
Trivia
Admiral Harold Stanforth was the commanding officer of a vessel of the same name in the early 26th century.[3]
