Wow. The man they designated to do weapons design apparently doesn't know as much as they think he does, considering the huge number of glaring flaws - many concerning charging weapons after dry and Condition One reloads - and the GROSS IGNORANCE indicated by the splash quote on the main page.

Most likely, neither he, nor the rest of Bungie, have any type of firearms experience. Thus, when one of them sounds like they know what they're talking about, and it sounds like it makes sense... they just go along with that guy.
