I've seen the fish, but unless i've misse it somewhere, how do we know they are species of Koi? HaloDude 19:42, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I named them for the creature they most resemble; they are very koi-like, so I figured the name wasn't too much of a stretch. Like how the tentative name for those flying things is "Dino-Birds," despite the fact that they are certainly neither actual dinosaurs or birds. - d3in0nychu5
