Bullfrogs

Template:Ratings Template:New Content The Bullfrogs was a nickname given to a squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers of the 22nd Shock Troops Battalion specializing in the use of jetpacks. During the Fall of Reach, they were stationed at New Alexandria, and helped SPARTAN-B312 capture an executive landing pad for use in the evacuation.

Trivia

• Every member of the Bullfrogs is named after a Bungie employee: Aaron Lieberman, Rob Adams, Max Dyckhoff, and Pete Parsons.

Note

Although the Bullfrogs are ODST's, the squad members hold Army ranks. ODST forces recruit from all branches of service within the UNSCDF, and the use of the Army ranking system may indicate that these troopers came from the UNSC Army branch and maintained their ranks while joining the ODST's or that this particular ODST unit is under UNSC Army command which would point to the UNSC Army having ODST units under their command much like the Marine Corps.
