The Short was released on IGN 20:00 (european time) 4th september. It starts with a ODST funeral of an SSGT. K. ST ARK. We later see the flashback from a fellow ODST's view (called Tarkov), how they trained to become ODST's and later droped in HEV pods, assaulting the Covenant, encountring Brutes. We now see how the ODST in funeral died. It is 1 minutes and 33 seconds long.

This Halo 3 ODST live action trailer is an live-action short made exclusively for the launch of Halo 3: ODST [1]. Directed by Rupert Sanders, who also worked on the Halo 3: Believe.
This short showcases the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, an elite organization of UNSC Marines, during their battles of the Human-Covenant War.
