GWC Trans-African Pipelines

The GWC Trans-African Pipelines were built alongside the Tsavo Highway, using the road as a route through which it carried meltwater from Mount Kilimanjaro to the GWC purification plant in the jungle. The pipes then transported the water along the Tsavo Highway across the rest of the African continent for distribution.[1]
