The Trip Mine Glitches are various glitches in Halo 3 that depend on the usage of one or more Trip Mines.
Infinite Trip Mines / Overloading
This trick is the application of Halo 3's Instant Respawn bug. Instant-Respawn Trip Mines are used to overload a map.
- Start a match in Forge.
- Enter Edit Mode, and place a Trip Mine.
- Use the Instant Respawn trick on the Trip Mine.
- Return to Player Mode and stand on top of where the Trip Mine spawns. You should pick it up.
- Throw it out in front of you. You should immediately pick up another.
- Keep throwing Trip Mines. Eventually, you will overload the map.
Eventually, the pile of Trip Mines will detonate on its own (as a Trip Mine explodes automatically after 90 seconds). Sometimes, after the explosion, some of the Mines will reappear again, as if nothing had happened.
