Nolan Byrne

Template:Human Character Infobox Staff Sergeant Nolan Byrne is an UNSC Marine Infantryman . He had continued Operation TREBUCHET along with Sergeant Avery Johnson. Byrne was of Irish descent.

Biography

Byrne participated in Operation: TREBUCHET in 2524. Byrne led a squad of Marines alongside Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson. Their squads used Hornets to hop from target to target and eliminated rebel bomb making factories. However, when a rebel was cornered in a Jim Dandy restaurant, Byrne told Johnson to fire a gauss cannon shot at a terrorist woman holding a child hostage, and Johnson did not, leading to the boy's father tackling the woman, and destroying the Jim Dandy restaurant, along with Byrne's marines and some injuries to himself. Byrne joined Johnson on Harvest to help train the Colonial Militia on that planet. He and Johnson fought four Jackals in the first battle between the UNSC and Covenant, and they successfully defeated them. As the conflict heated up, Byrne continued to defend the planet from Covenant hostiles and he received multiple injuries in the conflict. He was fortunate enough to live through the battle, and evacuated with Johnson and company in a Pod heading from the Tiara.
