The Battle of the Ark was a large engagement between the UNSC-Separatist Alliance, the Covenant Loyalists and the Flood[1]. It was the final battle of the Second Flood outbreak and is the last known battle of the Human-Covenant War and the Covenant Civil War [2].
The Battle took place over and on the Forerunner Structure known as the Ark. This included the Ark's control room, the Flood-infested Covenant Holy City High Charity and the Halo Ring, Installation 00

The Covenant Speratist and UNSC flew through the slipspace portal to follow the High Prophet of Truth and came across the Ark which was outside the Milky Way and also out of the Halos firing range.They landed on the Ark and started engaging the Covenant Loyalist forces and attempted to make their way to kill Truth.
