Saved Films is a feature in Halo 3 that allows for recording of a game session.[1]

Background

At the end of a campaign level or multiplayer match, you can decide if you want to save the film of that match, or you can delete it.

When watching a Saved Film, you can detach the camera from the standard first person view and move it to a over-head view or even roam around the level with the camera.

The maximum number of saved films you can store is 100. Also, you can take screenshots from the saved films or detach the camera and float around to get different angles and views of the match.
