There are two references to the Battle of New Mombasa, engagements for New Mombasa, Africa, Earth.
- First Battle of New Mombasa - The capturing of New Mombasa by the Covenant on October 22, 2552, and its decisive recapture by the UNSC, led by SPARTAN-117, and culimnating in the Prophet of Regret's Assault Carrier transitioning to Slipspace within the city, destroying it in a cataclysm.
