Shard cannon

Pulse Beams are a form of Weaponry used by Enforcers. They fire rapidly and are red in color. The Enforcers use them to combat infantry, especially the Flood. These weapons aren't used against vehicles and are not usuable in gameplay. The Enforcers use the pulse beams to control major outbreaks of Flood, so the Forerunners probably created them for this exact purpose.

They are red, rapidly-firing projectiles, similar in appearance to that of the Needler, but do not have the homing or explosive abilities that the needler has.
