Hunters have very heavy armor that sheilds most of the body. It is 

equipted with a large sheild like hand and hand-held fuel rod. Hunter are dangerous enemys. They are mainly used for heavy defence and demolition. Hunters work in pairs.Hunters can be a extremly big problem. The easiest way to kill a hunter is to shoot the uncoverd orange part of the body on it's neck, stomach, sides, and back. If you stand far from the Hunter it will use it's hand-held fuel rod to kill you. If you stand close it will try to smash you with it's powerful shield like hand. Grenades dont do much to the Hunter it will take quite a few to take 1 down. Melee attacking the hunter is pointless and dumb the hunter will hit you if you try and melee attacking does nothing. In halo 2 when you first battle the battle the Hunters the easiest way is to use the machine gun on the second floor of the building.
