Hydrostatic gel
I read this article and i was wondering, If it makes DIRECT contact with skin, then that means the spartans are naked in the armor?--Mac10&Cheese 03:48, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Probably. The armor would be bulkier with clothing. --Dragonclaws(talk) 05:47, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Of course! Wouldn't you like to kill a bunch of Covenant and Flood and stuff and then just suddenly yell in an obnoxiously high-pitched voice... "because I'm NAKED!!!!!"? I know I would... too bad my uncle's always here... and he spends most of his time in the room with my XBox... O_o Güéߣ¥-∏éҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 07:24, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- What? Doesn't the armor count as clothing? It's like saying, "Underneath those clothes... nude." --Dragonclaws(talk) 07:27, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I was just saying becouse it makes direct contact so you must be naked in the armor,i mean it dosent say direct contact with clothes.--Mac10&Cheese 21:38, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
On page 114 of The Fall of Reach Dr. Halsey says "... Against the skin of the operator, there is a moisture-absorbing cloth suit...", so the hydrostatic gel layer is somewhere inside the armor, but it's not the innermost layer.
