- This is a great quote, one of the best, in my opinion. It symbolizes how both Arbiter and Spartan are both nearly impossible to kill and are known for their reputation as being heroes on both sides. Also, it symbolizes how both are damn near impossible to kill, as said in response to Johnson, saying they had a hard enough time without those two trying to kill each other, and to Lord Hood, when he say that it was hard to believe that Master Chief was dead. --Galvascream 07:30, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

- Most of the Gravemind's quotes are poetic -- some literally, as in rhyming and using an iambic meter; others following the less-frequently-used definition of "poetic" as being concise, elegant, and meaningful. This quote, in addition to all that, is also short and memorable, and in my opinion, very well suited to the role of "Featured Quote". DavidJCobb 01:59, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

- Not one of the deepest things that the Gravemind says throughout the series.
- There are way better quotes from the Gravemind. Ideally, a featured Gravemind quote would bear the hallmarks of most of his speech: simple, elegant, concise, yet so very meaningful, intelligent, and memorable. This quote lacks some of those properties; there are other quotes that have all of those properties and are thus better suited for the role of "Featured Quote". DavidJCobb 01:59, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
