My thought.

In animal packs, the "Alpha" Male is the leader of the group. Brutes now have Brute packs. So it's either a Captain or a Chieftain. My vote is for Captain. -- Hunter-113 21:00, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Its somewhat confusing as a pack is used to generally refer to a single group of maybe 3-6 brutes, which i can't imagine a chieftain leading. Maybe a group of 30 or more, but that would be more of a 'tribe' so the captain comment may be capain. However i don't see a captain commanding a ship, so Alpha may be more likely to refer to the one that is totally dominate, IE a ship captain or a chieftain. --Ajax 013 21:07, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Not a Rank

Merge?

MERGE Contact Harvest confirms that Brute ships are led by the leader of the pack, who holds the rank of chieftain. So, Alpha Brute is the same thing as a Brute Chieftain. --EDFile:ArmyROTC.gif 15:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
