Template:Category Template:FactOrFiction The Plasma Turret is a powerful Covenant starship weapon. It fires a spear of Plasma and can strike at almost any range, upon contact it causes sever damage to a target and can be used in conjunction with the Plasma torpedos, and Energy Projectors to decimate an entire human fleet. It can also be used to decimate starfighters and ground forces.

The turret itself is antenna-like in appearance and is located along the sides of the ship. The beam itself is blue and short and has a ball-like head. All Covenant ships have them. The turrents apprear as short spikes on the sides, the upper sides, and the bow of the vessel.

Before the weapon fires it first has to charge. When the weapon charges, a ball of super heated plasma forms in front of the turret, then after about 3 seconds it fires outward at its target. From a distance multiple balls of plasma can be seen forming and then streak forward at their target almost tracking the ship, and enough shots can destory the vessel.
