Summary
Date: December 2163
Location: Argyre Planitia, Planet Mars
Involved: United Nations, Frieden, Koslovic forces.
Synopsis: This conflict makred the first use of Marines off Earth, and the beginnings of the United Nations Space Command.
Outcome: The UN is eventually sucessful in driving off the Koslovics.
Military Forces
Military forces are unknown at this time, with the exception that the United Nations deployed a large number of star ships and Marines.
Timeline
December 2163: In a conflict that stemmed from The Rain Forest Wars, the three primary Earth factions clashes again, this time on Mars. A series of lightning strikes against Koslovic forces near the Argyre Planitia marking the first extra-terrestrial deployment of Marines. The campaign is an unqualified success. As a result, future military doctrines favour large contingents of Marines for ground assaults and ship-boarding actions.
