Another Day at the Beach is a bonus clip on the Multiplayer Map Pack of Halo 2. It explains what happens to the other Pelican after being shot down by the Scarab in the cinematic before the level Outskirts.
Synopsis
The Pelican flies over Hotel Zanzibar and is seen by an Elite. He walks within sight of the Pelican and sees the survivors walking around. He sends in two Grunts to engage them and a Jackal sniper up into the buildings. As the ODSTs turn a corner around a rock, the sniper almost kills one of the Marines. The sniper ODST kills the Jackal easily. The body falls right next to the Grunts causing them to run scared towards the Elite. The first one gets by, but the second one is picked up by the throat and thrown. The annoyed Elite then takes a Energy Sword out and engages his Active Camouflage. The Elite takes the sword and slashes at a ODST. He falls and picks up a Plasma Pistol and begins charging it. The ODSTs are walking and a Plasma Grenade sticks one in the helmet. He removes the helmet and throws it in the air. It explodes next to the Elite so that he becomes visible. The Elite jumps at the ODST and has it in a hostage position using its sword. The plasma shot for the charged Plasma pistol takes out his shield, and then a Battle Rifle finishes it off. Then they hear Cortana telling them to stay put after the Master Chief took out the Hunters in the courtyard.
The ODSTs mentioned are O'Brian, Butkis, Jones and Sergeant Stacker. O'Brian died in the Pelican crash. Jones was their squad sniper. Jones also carried a pistol and became an unwitting hostage at the hands of an Elite. Butkis was the one who later grabbed the plasma pistol.

- The names of the ODSTs are the names of several of Bungie's animators.
