Summary
At a distance of 10.8 light years, the Epsilon Eridani System is the closest known star and planetary system to Earth. It is home to many of the UNSC's strongholds and military bases, such as Reach. Master Chief is from the Epsilon Eridani system. The space between the exit from Slipspace and Reach is a popular space pirate area, as unwary civilian ships will often be robbed of their goods.
