René was conscripted into the SPARTAN-II Program in 2517and is not as well known as the Spartans such as John-117 or Linda-058. When the time came for the Spartan augmentations René became crippled and could not fight anymore. René was last known to be floating in a neural buoyancy gel tank, with his/her skeletal system twisted beyond recognition. The last time René was seen, was on the UNSC Carrier Atlas. His or her current where abouts are unknown. [1] Its not known for certin if René is Male or Female.
