Before I go ahead and unilaterally delete this, I'd like to give the community a chance to speak on this. I contend that this page isn't notable enough to be needed. Its only notable event is the start of World War II. 1945 has received mentions in numerous timelines including the Encyclopedia, whereas 1939 not was not noted.
