Design[edit]

Decks[edit]

  • Storage subdeck K: This was a dimly-lit storage deck staffed by a tribe of Unggoy crewmen.[3]
  • Storage Sector Three: This was a sector that Huragok only used as it was filled with active plasma conduits.[3]
  • M deck: This was a deck on the supercarrier.[3]

Operational history[edit]

Human-Covenant War[edit]

In August 2552 the ship picked up a NOVA Bomb along with some mining equipment from Reach, implying that it had visited the planet following its disastrous fall. While the ship was not present at the battle itself, it was theorized that Xytan's brilliance combined with the audacity of Supreme Commander Thel 'Vadamee would have made for a devastating combination.[4]

Great Schism[edit]

A few months later, during the Great Schism, the carrier and its fleet were at Joyous Exultation along with as many other Sangheili-controlled ships as could be found. They met to plan a strike against the Jiralhanae and to decide what to do about the Flood, then later the humans. The ship, most of its fleet, the planet, and its moon were all destroyed when one of the Unggoy on board, Kwassass, inadvertently triggered a voice cue in a databox, thereby arming the NOVA bomb. After playing a message by Admiral Whitcomb, the detonation was caused by a group of Huragok, who reinserted the databox inside the bomb itself, despite Kwassass' efforts to prevent them from doing so after realizing the threat.[5]
