Rochambeau was a Colonel serving in the UNSC Marine Corps.[1]
Biography[edit]
Human-Covenant War[edit]
By late 2552, Rochambeau was a commissioned officer holding the rank of Colonel in the Marine Corps. He was present during the Battle for Earth, and took part in the Battle of Voi late in the campaign on November 17. Late in the battle, following the crash-landing of Indulgence of Conviction, Rochambeau had managed to rally some of the Marine survivors including Colum McGinnis. While discussing how to proceed, Rochambeau discussed using the Master Chief in a similar manner to a piece of equipment such as a tank, prompting McGinnis to assault the officer while asserting that the Spartan was a human and should be treated as such.[1]
During the assault, Rochambeau recieved a broken nose - causing McGinnis to be arrested and court-martialed for assaulting a superior officer.[1]
