UNSC Army Reserve

The UNSC Army Reserve is a branch within the UNSC Army consisting of reservist part-time soldiers. While trained and equipped like regular Army forces, reservists work on a part-time basis and take on missions more focused on garrisoning critical infrastructure and supporting other United Nations Space Command and Unified Earth Government activities. Due to their part-time work, reservist personnel return into civilian life once their assigned hours are completed, though in an emergency (such as a Covenant attack) they are called upon to coordinate and support local militias and law enforcement on the behalf of UNSC Unified Ground Command (UNICOM).
