From Hell's Heart is an achievement in Halo: Reach multiplayer matchmaking added with the Anniversary Map Pack. It was unlocked by killing an enemy player that stuck you with a Anskum-pattern plasma grenade with their own grenade in a matchmade game.^[1] The achievement could only be unlocked on an Anniversary map.

Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.^[2]^[3]

Trivia[edit]

The achievement's name is a reference to the novel Moby-Dick. After stabbing his nemesis, the eponymous whale, with a harpoon, Captain Ahab yells, "...from hell's heart, I stab at thee!" He is then dragged underwater by the whale and drowns with it. The second part of the quote was referenced in the Halo 4 achievement I Thrust at Thee.
