Put the Lady Down is the ninth track in Halo Wars: Original Soundtrack.

Overview[edit]

The track opens with brass cues before strings build up suspense. The melody, accompanied by brass and vocals, takes on an ominous feeling before replaced by percussion briefly. Strings and brass take over for a suspenseful melody. The track ends with synth ambiance with piano.

Appearances[edit]

The track plays in "She Is Not My Girlfriend", the opening cutscene of the eighth Halo Wars campaign level, Anders' Signal.

Production notes[edit]

The name Put the Lady Down is derived from Sergeant John Forge' quote, said in the cutscene when the Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee held Ellen Anders by the throat, "Why don't we put the lady down and talk about this, man to freak?"
