The Last Man Standing Medal in Halo 4.

Last Man Standing is a medal achievable in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4.

It is awarded and achieved for being the last human alive in the Infection or Flood gametypes or being the last Spartan player alive in Firefight. In Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, it is available in all Infection games and variants.

Overview[edit]

In the Bungie Halo games, it is represented by gold, eight pointed star with a bronze spur in the middle. In Halo 4, it is represented by the helmet of a Spartan.

In Halo 3, the player must either die or the time limit for the round that it's awarded in must end in order to be awarded the medal. In Halo: Reach, the medal is awarded immediately and grants an extra point toward the player's final score.

In Halo: Reach Firefight, players awarded this medal need to eliminate most enemies in a wave to revive their allies, which will award them another medal, the Hero medal.

Tips/Strategies[edit]

  • An easy way to get this medal is to find a good, secure hiding spot early on in an Infection game. The downside of this method, however, is that your opportunity to get kills (and therefore points) is greatly diminished.
  • The medal is easy to achieve in Halo 3 if one hides on the very well known infection game called Fat Kid or Hide & Seek.
