I would say to place the wall climbing part of the Sword Cancelling article in this article since it is not yet on here while sword cancelling already is.--Jack-137 13:57, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree. The sword flying article already has this information, so I think it would just be easier to combine them.--Kura

Sword and rocket canceling have been fixed on Xbox live you cant do them the old way.

More info to add to article[edit]

Sword Canceling is a important "feature" used within the various types of glitches, specificly used often in glitches involving getting out of a map or to a special location.

Sword canceling simply requires to have the covenant energy sword in hand, and is based off of the sword lunge cappability; glitch games are ussually played in a free-for-all slayer game setup, allowing the reuticle to turn red whenever targeting a fellow glitcher. whilse targetting (often with the players set in certin positions to get to certin locations) the Right trigger and X button are pressed enabling the swords lunge capabillity, but canceling the actual attack for a (at least to me) unknown reason.

It is also interresting to note that the power of a Sword Cancel (as in how far or strongly it propells you) very much, or at least noticabley differs from that of a typical sword lunge, with the two actions being nearly the exact same thing.

It is in no way required to have a modded, hacked, or otherwise altered Xbox in order to do a Sword Cancel, or acctually any form of glitch at all. -- Halohalo117 08:19, 14 April 2007
