The Ultimate Halo Companion DVD Set is a two-disc set distributed by Microsoft in 2003[1] as part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming Xbox game Brute Force. The set contains a playable demo disc for Xbox and a DVD with content from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Brute Force, in addition to an exclusive hint guide for the latter.

Content

The Ultimate Halo Companion DVD Set includes the Exhibition 2.0 Demo Disc for Xbox, containing playable demos and downloadable content for various Xbox games, and The Ultimate Halo Companion DVD, both a DVD and CD-ROM, containing trailers, interviews, screenshots, concept art, soundtrack samples, wallpapers and more from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Brute Force.

The set also includes a hint guide for Brute Force with character bios, squad tactics and combat commands.

Release

The set was given for free as a bonus for the pre-order of Brute Force in some retailers, and was never sold in stores. The Exhibition 2.0 Demo Disc was released separately in 2003 for $7.99 in the United States and $9.99 in Canada as part of the Xbox Exhibition series.[2]
