Trooper Warthog

Template:Vehicle Infobox The Trooper Warthog is an up-armored variant of the M12B Warthog employd by the forces of the UNSC Spirit of Fire on Installation 00.^[1]

Design details

The Trooper Warthog boasts much thicker armour plating around the vehicle, including armoured doors to protect the crew of the vehicle painted in a black-and-white dazzle camouflage pattern. Currently-observed vehicles have been seen in a Gauss Warthog configuration, sporting an M68 Gauss cannon.

Operational history

The Trooper Warthog was employed by the forces of the Spirit of Fire during the Second Ark Conflict in 2559.^[1]

Gameplay

The Trooper Warthog is a unit available in the Blitz mode of Halo Wars 2. As such, it can only be employed in Blitz and Blitz Firefight gamemodes. It is available to any UNSC leader.

The Trooper Warthog Blitz card has the following attributes;

Rarity: Rare
Cost to deploy: 110
Last Stand: When this unit falls in battle, a number of infantry troops jump out to continue the fight.

The Trooper Warthog is classed as a Core Vehicle, and performs well against Infantry, Vehicles and Aircraft.

Trivia

Despite having a very small open window in the armor, this is the only HW2 vehicle unit that has a see-through window that doesn't have any visible driver when it's not boarded/hijacked.
