Ghosts of Onyx cover[edit]

Given how Linda and Fred both were testing variants of the Mjolnir armor during the Battle of Onyx, wouldn't that mean that Will would have to be the Spartan in the default Mjolnir Mark VI? I'm sure it was intended to be Fred originally, and we could argue that it is just artistic licence or a general depiction of the novel's events. Just thought I'd point this out, as it could be too much speculation. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 14:30, 17 April 2016 (EDT)

Kinda' a combo of process of elimination via retcon. So I'm fine with saying it's Will.Sith Venator Mega Blastoise.gif (Dank Memes) 15:47, 17 April 2016 (EDT)
I'm a bit more cautious as it could also be a case of alternate visual depiction, much like the Fall of Reach comic vs. the animated series. For example, if the events of GoO were ever to be depicted today, I'm sure Kelly would be portrayed as wearing an EVA helmet instead of the standard Mark V. Cover art has always occupied a hazy canon status anyway - for example, neither the old or new cover of The Fall of Reach ever actually happens in the book, so I'm not sure if we can approach a cover with the same level of canonical scrutiny as other material. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:17, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking and why I wasn't sure as to whether we should assume as such. It will still be my headcanon that the Spartan is Will, but I suppose it may be too much of an assumption. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 00:39, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
Yeah, I had the same idea, but it's true that covers aren't always reliable. I still think it's not as bad as The Fall of Reach, but I understand it may be too much speculation. Imrane-117 (talk) 03:34, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
