Installation 01 is a fan-made first-person shooter Halo game on the Unity. The project was made to recreate the multiplayer experience of the Bungie-era games. The game is mostly meant to recreate the feeling of Halo 2 and Halo 3, although there are elements of Combat Evolved and Reach sprinkled in. The game will be free to play on all PC platforms.

History

The first public version of the game was shared on a Halo Waypoint forum post in August 2014. The team behind the game released their first vidoc in August of 2016. A cinematic trailer for the game was released in May of 2017. As of now Installation 01 is still a work in progress. Regular updates are made on the Installation 01 website.
