Well, from the way it behaves, it might be a thermal bomb (Not Nuclear - That would be in a wider and larger blast radius and dangerous to the Marines in the next level), seeing that the Fire still burns on the ceiling on the next level). Fuel tank

The texture files refer to it as large_fuel_tank. Coupled with the fact that there's no need to strap several smaller bombs onto a bomb that size, and the conspicuous-looking pressure gauge on one side (which reads "TANK CAPACITY", though it's much easier to make out in the files), I'm inclined to believe it's just a fuel tank being used to make a bigger boom. The trouble is, I have no idea how to categorize the article if it's changed, maybe some wiki vets can shed some light? ZakT (talk) 07:20, August 2, 2020 (EDT)

I'd be in favour, given this info, of just renaming this page "improvised UNSC bomb" or something. Not much would change in terms of categories etc. BaconShelf (talk) 13:21, August 2, 2020 (EDT)
