UNSC Sagan Blue (hull classification symbol FS-803) was a Gladius-class corvette in service with the UNSC Navy.
History
In 2554, the Sagan Blue had a deadly encounter with two Kig-Yar DAS-class storm cutters, Mark of Prophecy and Divine Breath near New Carthage.[1]
Trivia
Early in development of Halo: Warfleet – An Illustrated Guide to the Spacecraft of Halp the UNSC Sagan Blue was called the Carl Sagan, which is likely a reference to Carl Sagan a famous American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, science popularizer, and science communicator in astronomy and other natural sciences.[2]
